Know what breaks before your host upgrades PHP
Bumpcheck is a WordPress plugin. It reads every plugin and theme on your site and tells you which ones stop working on PHP 8.0 to 8.6, with the file and the line. Premium and custom code included. Nothing leaves your server.
inc/render.php:236 create_function() was removed in PHP 8.0.src/Query.php:88 Parameter $args is nullable only through its null default. The free plugin
- Checks all plugins, must-use plugins and themes against the PHP version you pick
- Reads the files on your server, so paid and custom plugins are covered
- Runs in short steps and does not time out on shared hosting
- Lists old fallback code apart, so it does not raise false alarms
Install it from the WordPress plugin directory: search for "Bumpcheck". It needs WordPress 6.0 and PHP 7.4 or newer.

Questions
Is a clean result a guarantee?
No. The scan reads code and does not run it. Problems that depend on values at run time cannot be seen this way. A clean result means nothing known was found. Test a busy site on a staging copy before you switch.
Does anything leave my site?
The free plugin makes no outside requests at all. Pro contacts this server to check the license key and to fetch updates. It sends the key and your site address, never scan results.
What happens when the license ends?
Pro stops running scheduled scans and exports, and updates stop. The free plugin keeps working.
Can I move the license to another site?
Yes. Remove it under Tools, Bumpcheck on the old site, then activate it on the new one.
